Audio and Film Conversion
We have a vast collection of audio recordings and are constantly adding to our moving image collections. To find out more you can click on the relevant links to view more detailed information.
Sound bites of many of our audio recordings can be accessed via our electronic catalogue. Full length recordings can be accessed in our searchroom. Please contact us in advance of your visit. If you require copies of any of our audio recordings we can provide audio files written to CD-R. The cost is £10 for recordings up to 60 minutes in length and £12 for longer recordings. All usual copyright restrictions apply - digital recordings can only be used for private research or personal study. We also offer VHS and Betamax video tape conversions. Tapes are copied to DVD+R and can be played on standard DVD players or personal computers with a DVD player. The cost for this service is £20.
We are delighted to offer both of these services to clients who have collections of their own. We cannot copy any material which is protected under copyright but family movies or audio recordings can be copied.
