Berwick Event - January 12th 2011

There will be a special display at Berwick Library on Friday and Saturday 14th and 15th January. Following on from the BBC Turn Back Time: The High Street series, a small exhibition on Berwick shops and businesses in the past has been created and this will be on exhibition between 10am and 12noon in the Library. These include Match the Old and New Shopfronts and recreate Berwick High Street in the late 1950s and late 1980s. There will also be quizzes and competitions for all the family.

On Saturday at 11am, there will be a short talk by Linda Bankier from Berwick Record Office on Researching the High Street. Why not bring along your old photographs and memories.

The event has been organised by Berwick Record Office and Berwick Library.
