Woodhorn is an inspirational place for learning and we hope the following pages help you to get the most out of a visit to the museum and archive. We have provided lots of information to help you plan, prepare and get the most out of your visit to the former coal mine whether you are looking at the industrial heritage or some other project.
Of course we appreciate that you
can't always visit in person, so on these pages you will find a wide range of resources to help you with your lessons in school. We've made life a bit easier for you and taken some of the hard work out with our Learning Zone pages. We've also very recently provided some brand new handling boxes utilising archive rescources that your students will love. Take a look.
