Heritage Open Days: Winding House Tours

 Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September.

Visitors will be able to enter the last Victorian engine house in Northumberland and see some of the workings in action on Heritage Open Days weekend.

Tours will be available hourly throughout the day, visit the welcome desk to find out when the next available tour is during your visit.

The Winding House is an historic building that is not fully accessible. Access to the winding gear demonstration involves climbing steep stairs. Children must be supervised at all times. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
