Leaving a Gift in Your Will
Museums & Archives Northumberland (Woodhorn Charitable Trust) keeps the heritage of Northumberland safe for people to enjoy. We are fiercely proud of our county’s history – the mines and music, the art and artifacts – and want to ensure that future generations learn about the passions that drove our forefathers.
You can help share their stories and preserve the places that were so dear to them by joining others in leaving a gift to Woodhorn Charitable Trust in your will. Recent gifts included a legacy that enabled us to purchase a painting by one of the Ashington Group – better known to many as The Pitmen Painters – and bring it home to be enjoyed by local people and future generations. This is The Window by Jimmy Floyd.
As a registered charity, we rely on your support to help us, both with our everyday work and with long-term planning, and a gift of any size can really help us to do this.
For more information download a leaflet here and take it to your solicitor when making or amending your will, who will be able to advise you further. Thank you for considering leaving us a gift in your will.
