Pupils' Activities

Two Workshops are available for this subject. Workshop 1 - 'Fishing and Family Life' uses original sources including maps, census records and photographs to try and illustrate the lives of the Newbiggin Fishing community 100 years ago. Workshop 2 - 'Man Overboard' uses photographs and original documents to illustrate the events of the Newbiggin Disaster of 1906.
