Spindlestone in Concert - the Laidley Worm Writhes Again!

spindlestone_playing_at_bagpipe_museumJoin the North East folk trio for their 40th anniversary concert. Brother and sister multi-instrumentalists John Bibby and Kim Bibby-Wilson reunite with singer Ray Leonard, making a rare return visit from Canada. Taking their name from the legend of the Laidley Worm of Spindlestone Heugh, near Bamburgh, the trio uses mandolins, smallpipes, accordion, fiddle, whistle, guitars, electric bass, harp and even luftwurst (don’t ask!) to put a strong focus on the songs and melodies of the North East.
