Music Session & CD Launch with Robson’s Choice Northumbrian Pipers
Bring an instrument in F pitch, join in some tunes and take the opportunity to buy the new CD which is sold in aid of St Oswald's Hospice.
Robson’s Choice was formed as a performing group by the late Jane Robson. They play traditional Northumbrian music in harmony at a variety of events and also give talks on the pipes. They have raised thousands of pounds for St Oswald’s Hospice. Refreshments provided.

Chantry Art Club
Youngsters can have fun and learn some great new skills in the fascinating surroundings of the bagpipe museum. At the end of the session everyone will have a usable quality item to take away.
River Clocks: Saturday 19 November 10 am to 12 noon
Children will be given a wooden clock face to decorate inspired by creatures found alongside the river. There will be lots of imagery of local wildlife to provide the inspiration.
Textiles Workshop: Saturday 26 November 10 am to 12 noon
A chance to design and create a t-shirt or a canvas bag using fabrics, embellishments and sewing techniques. Fabric paints and pastels will also be available and an opportunity to use screen printing techniques.
Christmas Mugs: Saturday 3 December 10 am to 12 noon
Children will design and paint a ceramic mug which could be used as a Christmas gift for a family member. They will also create a unique gift bag for the item.
Christmas Tree Lanterns: Saturday 10 December 10 am to 12 noon
Make a small Christmas tree lantern decorated with silhouette stars. The lantern will be completed in one session but may need to left to dry and collected the following week
Christmas Stockings and Decorations: Saturday 17 December 10 am to 12 noon
Create unique Christmas stockings to hang up at home, either in the style of a fur lined winter boot with a high heel made from faux leather or a clumpy military style boot with camouflage fabric. There will be an opportunity to create various Christmas decorations and cards too.
